Wagner’s Cove is one of Central Park’s best kept secrets. It’s a small rustic wooden shelter tucked along the edge of the Lake, set back from the main paths and surrounded by trees, so it feels completely private even though you’re in the middle of Manhattan.

The setup is soft and romantic. Small glass vases with silk white flowers are placed throughout the shelter, candles glow around the space, and four dozen real rose petals are scattered where you’ll get down on one knee. Our team sets everything up before you arrive, so all you have to do is walk in.

Your photographer will already be in place nearby, hidden so your partner won’t notice them. We capture the walk up, the moment you ask, the reaction, and everything right after, then take portraits once you’ve both had a minute to take it in.
